Public Health Ontario will be hosting its second annual Vaccine Sciences Symposium on November 23 - 24, 2011 in Toronto, Ontario.
RECOMMENDED AUDIENCE
The target audience includes public health and infectious disease physicians, public health nurses, epidemiologists, and researchers with a solid knowledge of vaccine preventable diseases (VPDs) and immunization.
GOALS AND OBJECTIVES
The objectives of the symposium are:
- to examine the range of research relevant to the vaccination programs;
- to evaluate recent immunization-related research, to predict future trends related to vaccine development; and
- to develop professional networks within the vaccine-sciences-related community.
CME CREDITS
An application has been put forward so that the workshop may qualify for Continuing Education (CME) credits with both the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, and the College of Family Medicine of Canada, as determined by the University of Toronto's Centre for Continuing Professional Development.
