Dr. Dylan Pillai, medical microbiologist in the Antimicrobial Resistance, ARO-HAI unit and Parasitology division at the Toronto lab, has received a Program Committee Award from the Interscience Conference on Antimicrobial Agents and Chemotherapy. His work, entitled Genome-wide dissection of globally emergent multi-drug resistant serotype 19A Streptococcus pneumoniae was partially carried out at PHO laboratories. The award was won in the category of Epidemiology of Infection. |
