Application Deadline: April 8, 2011 The Sheela Basrur Centre invites full-time students enrolled in a public health program to apply for the Sheela Basrur student travel bursary. The Sheela Basrur student travel bursary supports the next generation of public health professionals in Ontario and abroad by broadening their experience and knowledge base in public health. The bursary will provide an advanced understanding of public health in different jurisdictions by supporting students in undergraduate or graduate programs who wish to travel for a public health placement and require financial assistance with travel costs. Students must be able to demonstrate a commitment to public health and be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate public health program at a recognized university. International public health students must be able to secure travel visa requirements to come to Canada.
