PHO, in collaboration with the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario (RNAO), successfully co-hosted a Public Health Nursing Summit on April 27, 2010. An overview of PHO and its mandate of reducing health inequities was presented. Two panels explored the connections between community-based and public health led initiatives and the latest research trends in public health nursing.

Participants had the opportunity to brainstorm potential opportunities for how PHO can support practice and research needs related to public health nursing.
