Virtual Library is a suite of bibliographic databases that index thousands of peer-reviewed scientific journals, many of which offer access to full text articles. The following databases are available in the Virtual Library:

Access to Virtual Library is restricted to staffs from the Ontario public health units, Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care (MOHLTC) Public Health Division and Public Health Ontario. This resource has been provided to the public health sector in the province by the MOHLTC Public Health Division since 2007. In November 2011, Public Health Ontario will assume full responsibility for Virtual Library.
