We need sentinel physicians to join our Sentinel Vaccine Effectiveness (VE) study and contribute to the accurate measurement of circulating influenza strains, including H1N1, in Ontario.

This study is aimed at learning more about the H1N1 flu virus so that we can better protect Ontarians from illness in the future. We tested approximately 1600 Ontarians for antibodies to the H1N1 flu virus and to determine risk factors for infection by the H1N1 flu virus.  All of the data has been gathered and is currently under analysis. Results will be published when complete.
